Barbie’s Bitter Sweet Chopped Salad

Our daily never-fail salad



Ingredients



Dressing

  • Good white balsamic vinegar

  • Good olive oil - just a drizzle

  • Salt + pepper



Nuts/Seeds

  • Roasted in oven for 10-15 min at 350º

  • Add any or all just before serving



Notes

  • Dress the salad about 20 min before serving so that flavors can permeate and serve at room temperature

  • If on hand I will also slice very fine and use:

  • Bok choy or tatsoi

  • Kohlrabi, grated

  • Pea shoots

  • Any other greens.

  • I  also occasionally add:

  • Sliced sundried tomatoes

  • Shredded cabbage

  • Chickpeas
